My Projects
Nifty 200 Clustering & Risk Analysis Algorithm
K-Means Clustering was developed from scratch to analyze 191 Nifty 200 stocks based on six key financial ratios—Return on Equity (ROE), P/E Ratio, D/E Ratio, Beta, 1-Year Return, and Market Capitalization—aimed at optimizing portfolio composition. The study further integrated the Markowitz mean-variance framework to maximize the Sharpe ratio and conduct an in-depth Value at Risk (VaR) analysis, offering a comprehensive assessment of portfolio efficiency and risk exposure.
Reliance Industries: Algorithmic Modelling of Derivatives Strategy
The publication explored derivative trading strategies for Reliance Industries by analyzing NSE market data and employing the Black-Scholes model, Monte Carlo simulations, and Put-Call Parity to derive theoretical option valuations. Through detailed payoff diagram analysis, the study identified breakeven risks and volatility hedging opportunities, offering data-driven recommendations to strengthen portfolio management and optimize risk-adjusted returns.
Modeling HIV Viral Dynamics Inside a Host
An Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) model was formulated to represent HIV within-host dynamics by extending the classical SIR and SIS frameworks to account for latently infected cells. Through numerical simulations in R and Python, the model was analyzed for viral load trajectories, equilibrium behavior, and treatment outcomes, revealing that the discrete model provides a more precise depiction of disease progression and improves the evaluation of HIV therapy effectiveness.
xv6 and nanoC
Implemented core functionality of xv6 (Unix-like OS) and developed a compiler for nanoC (subset of C), as
part of CS-1217 Operating Systems and CS-1319 Programming Languages coursework.
SewerCAD
A CAD-based assessment of Shimla’s sewerage system integrating QGIS, Py & AutoCAD for spatial analysis,
terrain modeling and hydraulic simulation, generating reports on WSS infrastructure.
